This is really a very well thought out sabre with pleasing lines to booth. Those ,, Saxon '' scabbard fittings are plain sexy.

It is known as "The Sword of St. George". I have an entire article on this piece, but it's German so I don't have any details currently that I can share.

This fine Lion Head Sword is probably an Imperial piece but since there is no maker mark on the blade it is difficult to exactly date it.
